5-year-old boy who was home with mom helps deliver baby brother
King Young called 911 and let paramedics inside when they arrived

A 5-year-old boy is being credited with helping his mom go through an early birth at home.King Young was at home with his mom, Jalessa, on Tuesday.”She just started screaming baby bro was hurting her,” King said.The boy brought his mom a towel and then called 911. King’s dad, Jared Young, was at work at the time.Jared Young said he was on the phone with Jalessa and King as the earlier-than-expected delivery was taking place.”Just trying to coach King through it. He basically became like the man of the house at that moment, so I’m very, very proud of him, man. My wife swore she would never have a baby at the house, and for King to basically deliver the baby at the house, it worked out,” Jared Young said.King also let paramedics in the house to help his mom.Both Jalessa and her new son, Prince, are at the hospital and doing well.
