Active Shooter Incident Reported At Concord’s St. John Regional School


CONCORD, NH — Concord police, New Hampshire State Police troopers, and other law enforcement agencies were at an active shooter call at St. John Regional School on Thursday.

Students were in the parish hall at Christ the King Parish Church before the police arrived, practicing Christmas carols. Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies searched the buildings but did not find a shooter.

Concord SAU 8 schools in the area — Concord High School, Rundlett Middle School, and McAuliffe and Abbot-Downing elementary schools were all put in “secure campus” mode. No one was allowed in or out of the schools, as a precaution.

The incident appears to be a hoax, with other schools around New Hampshire reporting similar incidents.
